We believe in service through action which is the cornerstone for any practical demonstration of a Christ-like nature.
Our Work
We are a group of dedicated God-fearing women living in the UK who have joined hands together to serve, offer support and help the most vulnerable and those in need no matter one’s colour or race.
Visiting the Sick, Looking after orphans, responding to a call for Help, Standing with those grieving etc
Members
We currently have a total of 28 active WIU members and several volunteers working with us.
We have a traditional management structure with three core office positions: Chairperson, Secretary, and Treasurer, which help steer the organisational objectives forward.
Volunteering
Our work requires ones time and commitment to give that time as a service. All Active and volunteers give their time and resources in form of transport, buying food to cook for delivery, buying hampers for the sick etc. The strength of WIU is found in this which kept the organisation going regardless of the circumstances.
Fund Raising and Grants
We organise quarterly fundraising events within the communities, firstly to showcase the services available and to raise funds from those who identify with WIU causes and work.

Looking After Orphans and Widows
We know that love answers all, love gives strength, love removes the void that harbours resentment and blocks a bright future. Losing a parent is a very devastating experience no matter ones age. For the young ones among us, it may mean the whole world has turned upside down on you.
We believe the biggest service we can offer to these young orphans is love and care. Help feel they are not alone, comfort them and share experiences.
Looking after the Sick
With our steadfast dedication, our organization brings hope and healing to the sick, providing compassionate care and support. We strive to make every moment brighter for those in need, nurturing their spirits and restoring their strength. Together, we create a community where every life is cherished, and every smile is celebrated
